About Stubaital Glacier

The Stubaital glacier is a ski resort located in Tyrol and is one of the best accessible glaciers in Austria. from the airport in Innsbruck the ski bus will take you right to the ski lifts.

Being a glacier the Stubaital resort offers spectacular views from a maximum heights of 3210 meters above sea level. This ski resort offers slopes for beginners and experts alike, a large fun park is located just below the highest point. In addition to this park cross country skiers can indulge themselves on one of the highest trails in Europe. In addition there is an ice climbing wall where you can learn how to ice climb.

The highest panorama restaurant in Austria at a height of 3150 meters above sea level is also located on the Stubaital glacier resort.

Strengths and weak points

Strengths:

No flats : the Stubaital glacier is snowboard friendly where flat spots are almost none existent

Snow: the amount of snow and the quality of the slopes is secured by the height of the Stubaital glacier. the resort offers perfect snow conditions up to the month of May.

Weak points:

If you were looking for long ski decants and large tours this is not the best ski resort for you.

The amount of restaurants and huts are limited in this ski resort and most of them are large restaurants.
